BaselWorld 2009 update: personalization (last day)

Today was my last day at the trade fair Basel and was originally designed for jewelry planned visits in Hall 2. Round-the-clock hardcore fans know that you shouldn't be stucked in Hall 1, 3 and 5. Hall 2, officially the high end jewelry Hall, it also has some "watch brands Pearl" available.

Since it was our last day I didn't have much time to take pictures, but I want to quickly share this image:

Robinson is one of these gems in Hall 2. Therefore I Dominik Kunhle sometime to my friend, visit, Robinson with his brother 7 years ago founded made. You are born great WatchFreaks are raised in Germany a jewelry maker Familie.Die Kunhle brothers, and in 2002, they began to turn their dreams into reality. Every since that do to create not only interesting designs, but actually produce 70% of all components in its factory in the Switzerland.

Unfortunately we don't have much time, sit relaxed and you take that many pictures. But there is something the me off during this exhibition struck: the lack of options provided by the watch manufacturer of watch owners to personalize their watches.I personally think that this is the future (or actually back to the roots) watchmaking!I greetings Vacheron Constatin introducing Quai de l'Ile collection about year and a half Tag.Mein dream is personal to the construction and a mechanical watch manufacture Tag.Mit of my family we started and ready, but I also underestimated a prototype of the case, how much work needs to erledigen. Also things, I know why not high-end watch brands are eager, custom made watches to make.

My questions to you, my fellow WatchFreaks:

1. Have the need to personalize your watch?

2. If Yes, what would you personalize? dial, case, name movement, complete model, etc.?

3. Were how much to spend ready (percentage) to get this done?

I hope that I question not, many questions, any input is appreciated.
